Coal Mine Board of Examiners

The Coal Mine Board of Examiners is responsible for the examination, training and certification of mine foreman, firebosses, surface mine foreman, shotfirers, blasters and electricians in coal mines. The Board meets and holds examinations quarterly. The Board is appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the General Assembly and serve four-year terms
